Heritage Garden Rooms offers premium SIP panel kits, crafted for easy self-assembly or professional installation by our expert team.

SIP panels are the ideal framing material for garden buildings. Typically, only 12 to 16 panels are needed to construct the walls and floor of most buildings. These panels are pre-cut and rebated at our factory, with all structural corners factory-fitted for easy assembly. They simply slide into position and are secured with our supplied fitting kit, resulting in a strong, perfectly straight, and accurate SIP structure completed in just a few hours.

We DO NOT use SIP panels in our roofs. Our testing has shown that SIP panels cannot span roof areas unsupported without long term sagging and developing a permanent bow. Instead, we use insulated panels specifically engineered for roofing. These roofing panels require no internal timber support structure to try to prevent sagging and therefore have no large gaps between the insulation to cause cold bridging, these continuous insulation panels have an overall thickness of 120mm, have an impressively low U-value of just 0.26 W/m²K, come fully finished, feature an off-white interior surface and an anthracite exterior finish. Designed with an overlapping interlocking system and with the appropriate supplied sealants applied between the joints, they securely bolt to our SIP shell frame and to each other, using the bolts included in our fixing kit and can span room depths of up to 7 metres in one continuous panel making roof leaks a thing of the past. The off white interior of the panel makes a perfectly acceptable ceiling finish, or the roof can either be clad directly or if you want to put recessed lighting instead of surface mounted you can fix battens and clad (click and stick upvc will easiest) or plaster board.

Since the roof panels come fully finished, there is no need to be gluing on, or indeed replacing some years down the line an EPDM rubber membrane, saving you both time and money. With the long service life of this commercial grade roof, it is unlikely it will ever need to be replaced.

Our durable UK manufactured 122mmSIP panels are equipped with high-performance EPS insulation, delivering an outstandingly low U-value of 0.22 W/m²K. They efficiently keep out winter cold and summer heat, ensuring optimal year-round comfort. Beyond their superior insulation, these SIP panels solid mass, forms a substantial barrier that effectively blocks unwanted external and internal noise. Our versatile rooms are ideal for a wide range of uses, including just somewhere quiet to read, relax and enjoy your garden, home offices, music studios, games rooms, home cinema, bars and entertainment, man caves, pool tables, home gyms, art studios, sales office, farm shop, hair salon, dog grooming studio, nail / beauty salon, sun-beds, cat grooming, and much more.

Our Complete shell+exterior kits and our Complete kits both include a French Doors that are UK manufactured to ensure high quality, UK standards and future supply of any spares that may be required. All kits with a width of 2 metres will be supplied with 1490mm 2 panel and kits with a width of 3 metre and over will be supplied with a 2700mm 4 panel French Door, finished externally in Anthracite wood effect with chrome door handles and internally in standard white with white door handles, to best match our standard building finish style. The Advance 70 frame and glass is A-rated for thermal efficiency ( A-rating for windows and doors is the most thermally efficient ) and comes with Toughened, Soft-Coat Low – E  Glass Units. Security is assured with PAS24 and Secured by Design security standards to the entire window / doors / frame, High Quality 7-Point Reverse Locking system are fitted for that final peace of mind.

Both of these kits also include exterior cladding, UK made from slow growing Scandinavian Redwood/Pine thick stock blanks, which have been kiln dried and pressure treated prior to being cut into very attractive half lap cladding. All cladding is pre cut to size and pre drill marked for ease of installation.

All of our kits in include substantial 5 element bonded lintels to bridge over doors and windows. Lintels don’t just have to support their own weight or I just their weight and the roof, in the winter there could be potentially 500kg of snow on just a small roof and some of our bigger kits roofs could have well in excess of a 1000kg on top, all trying to deform the lintel onto the windows and doors below. Our 5 element lintels are more than capable of withstanding this pressure, ensuring your windows and doors will continue to function as intended.
